As a student at a WEST I’ve been learning Greek and Hebrew this year. My Gk teacher sent me a link to this blog post (http://ntresources.com/blog/?p=135) which recommends that regular reading (even in very small amounts) is the best way to maintain a useful level of Greek grammar, vocab etc.
It must be, therefore, that the same is true for Hebrew. It’s essential that a student keep reading and practising
the language in order to improve their knowledge of it.
I think exactly the same is true of Jesus and reading the bible in general. Persistence in reading, even just in small chunks, a paragraph at a time, helps us know and keep up a healthy knowledge and relationship with Jesus.
Not only do Greek and Hebrew get better with “build up” – so too does Jesus.
Brother and sisters – keep reading about Him!
